A few Actions on Climate

45 pulled the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, an agreement between several countries to take efforts to combat climate change. This places the United States with Nicaragua and Syria as the only UN-recognized nations who aren't signatories. Seventy percent of Americans favor staying in the Paris agreement.  In the last few days, many U.S. mayors, governors, and attorney generals have announced that they will continue to support the efforts of the agreement despite 45's decision--even tech companies  that would potentially benefit from looser regulations are showing support.

Prior to Trump’s decision to withdraw the US from the Paris climate agreement, 22 Republican Senators wrote him a letter urging him to do so. These 22 Senators have strong financial ties to oil and gas (which is strange in this situation because many prominent oil company CEO’s urged Trump to stay in the agreement). Are your Senator(s) on this list? If so, contact them!
