Did you know your credit card could be helping to fund the Ku Klux Klan?
Major credit card companies like MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are processing funds for the KKK and over 100 other white supremacist groups, including the ones that radicalized domestic terrorists like Dylan Roof, Timothy McVeigh, and the neo-Nazis who attacked Charlottesville.
But we have a huge chance right now to stop them. Recently, Color of Change launched a campaign to pressure these companies to stop processing donations to hate groups. Momentum is building--MasterCard, Visa, and American Express have already moved to block several violent groups, but there are still dozens more to go.
If we can cut off their funding, we can stop the spread of violence. That's why the ladies of Couch Activism added our names--can you sign, too?

Consider divesting from big banks (think those funding DAPL, processing payments for organizations like the KKK, with predatory practices) and these credit companies all together. Unlike the big banks in this country, Credit Unions are not-for-profit and often have better internal and external practices.
