healthcare vote delayed!

Yesterday, Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R - Kentucky) delayed the health care bill vote following Sen. John McCain's surgery. (Must be nice to have health insurance, huh?!)

Without McCain, Senate Republicans likely would not have had the 50 votes necessary to advance the legislation. See the article here.

NOW is the time! Time to stand up and fight. Get off the couch. Make some calls. Sign some petitions. Here is a list of things you can do today to help the resistance:

·        MARCH |  The People's Filibuster to Stop #Trumpcare will be held at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. July 17th. More info here.

·        CALL | As always, reach out to your Senators using these Indivisible Guide scripts (Democrats/Republicans)

·        SIGN | Petition to Make Trumpcare Mandatory for Congress (

·        JOIN | Make a list of resistance groups to follow for news, events, and updates, starting with Couch Activism! :) Others include What Do I Do About Trump?, Rogan's List, and Pod Save America.
